Mumbai, Aug 27: The designated TADA court today issued release orders for another convict in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case Abdul Aziz Shaikh, who was granted interim bail along with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt but not released as the surety amount was not furnished as per the Supreme Court order.

On August 20, the apex court had passed its order to release Shaikh on bail after taking the bond of Rs ten lakh but due to the lack of finances, he could not furnish the surety and once again moved the court requesting to reduce the same.

The request was accepted by the court and Shaikh was directed to furnish the surety of Rs two lakhs. A copy of the modified order of the apex court reached the TADA court this morning and judge P D Kode directed the Suprintendent of the Nashik Jail to release him on bail after completing the formalities.
