Mangalore, Aug 27 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, sharply reacting to the remarks made by the former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, today said his party need not get any certificate from him on the functioning of the JD(S)-BJP coalition government.

Speaking to newspersons here on the sidelines of a function, he said Mr Siddaramaiah and other Congress leaders were day-dreaming about imposition of President rule in the State.

Replying to a question, the Chief Minister said people of the State would give certificate to the present coalition government.

''Let him better review his own performance during his tenure as Deputy Chief Ministership and then talk'', he added.

Referring to opposition by the people of Dakshina Kannada to the proposed Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ) project, Mr Kumaraswamy appealed to the people to support the project, which would contribute to the economic and industrial development of the region. Without development there would be no progress and people should not oppose for the sake of mere opposition, he added.
