HC to hear Salman's bail plea on Aug 29

Jodhpur, Aug 27: The Rajasthan High Court will hear Bollywood actor Salman Khan's review and bail petition in the chinkara poaching case on August 29.

Salman's counsel Hastimal Saraswat moved the High Court on Saturday urging it to hear the review and bail petition today, but the court would hear his appeal on August 29 according to case listings.

According to legal proceedings, Salman would have to stay in the Central Jail here till the final disposal of his bail plea.

The actor's five-year imprisonment in the case was earlier upheld by a District and Sessions court here on August 24.
