Full Plan Panel meet postponed till Sept 3

New Delhi, Aug 27: The meeting of the Full Planning Commission on the subject of education slated for tomorrow has been postponed.

Planning Commission sources say this is due to the inability of Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh to attend the meeting. The Minister, who is in Mumbai, has not been able to come back to the capital as his wife has suddenly taken ill in that city.

The sources said it was not possible to conduct the meeting without Mr Singh as he is the Cabinet Minister for the nodal Ministry.

They said the meeting is likely to be held on September 3.
