Auditor assault case adjourned to Sept 17

Chennai, Aug 27 (UNI) A Principal Additional Sessions Court today adjourned the hearing in the auditor Radhakrishnan assault case, involving Kanchi Acharya Jayendra Saraswathi, to September 17.

When the case came up before Judge Muhammad Ishaq Ali, the prosecution submitted the government was yet to appoint a Special Public Prosecutor to argue the case and even the witnesses did not turn up on medical grounds.

Accepting the plea, the Judge adjourned the case to September 17.
