AR presents van to deprived school children

Shillong, Aug 27 (UNI) Assam Rifles Director General Lt Gen Paramjit Singh today presented a van to a school for deprived children.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Lt Singh stressed the need for social uplift of the weaker sections of society by all citizens.

The school, Dwar Kyngkyrmen, had been actively involved in education to special children here since 1986.
