Water level likely to touch max level

Tiruchirapalli, Aug 26 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery is expected to touch its full capacity of 120 ft before this midnight, and this would be for the third consequent time that the reservoir has touched its FRL in the curent season.

PWD sources said the level stood at 119.510 ft this evening with the inflow of 33,967 cusecs.

The discharge was maintained at 12,000 cusecs, the sources added.
