Two blasts claims several lives, creates panic in AP Capital

Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) The two blasts occurred at Lumbini park and Gokul Chat that claimed several lives, has created panic in the city.

An eye-witness Vinay, who was present in Laser show theatre said, ''More than 100 people were watching the laser show when a powerful explosion occured at Lumibini park at around 1940 hours immediately after the show began. The torned bodies were squatted and blood stains were seen everywhere at laser show venue.'' He said, ''I heard a big sound while watching the laser show.

Panicked with the sound I ran out of the park and left from the place on a bike. I had no idea what to do at that time.'' When the media reached the place, three bodies laid at fifteenth row of the seats where the bomb could have exploded. The fibre chairs fitted in 15 to 17 rows were melted with the powerful explosion.

Some eateries, shoes and other persnal belongings were left at the venue by the panicked visitors.

Police and rescue teams swung into action and sent the injured people to Osmania and Gandhi hospitals.

The City Police Commissioner Balwinder Singh, Intelligence IG Arvinda Rao, state Minority Welfare Minister Mohd Ali Shabbir, Congress MPs V Hanumantha Rao and Anjan Kumar Yadav, were among others, who visited the sites.
