Three people killed in road accident in HP

Nahan, Aug 26 (UNI) Three people were killed when a car in which they were travelling rolled down into a 500-feet deep gorge near Shilla Bag under Rajgarh Tehsil of Sirmour district, police said.

The deceased were identified as Sirmour district Congerss senior vice president G S Verma, Sahi Ram Verma and Jai Ram Verma. All were the residents of village Dhamander, police said.

The police said the accident took place when they were coming from Baru Sahib Gurudwara after attending public meeting of Chief minister yesterday.

Himachal Vidhan Sabha Speaker G R Musafir expressed deep sorrow on their death.

District administration paid Rs 5,000 each to the next of kin of the deceased as immediate relief.
