Security tightened across Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Aug 26: Security has been tightened all over Tamil Nadu in view of the twin blasts in Hyderabad that claimed over 40 lives last night.

Police sources today said additional policemen were deployed at all important locations in the state and in places where the public congregates in large numbers.

Airport, railway stations and bus depots are under tight police security.

Patrolling has been intensified and vehicle checks are being done.

Chennai City Police Commissioner Nanjil Kumaran reviewed the security situation at a high-level meeting in the city.
