Seaways's new corporate office inaugurated

Hyderabad, Aug 26 (UNI) Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T R Balu today inaugurated the new state-of-the-art corporate office of the Seaways Group at Madhapur here.

According to a release, Seaways Group, a leading shipping and logistics service provider in India had started its operations about 18 years ago. The company had a network of 27 branches and about 15 overseas offices.

The company operated nine vessels and handled about 10 million metric tonnes of cargo annually. It specialised in turnkey movement of cargo for major industries in India, the release said.

The company also operated exclusive Coastal Express service between India and Bangladesh, and had recently included ports of Singapore and Malaysia in its service network, the release added.
