Police intensify checking vehicles coming from Hyderabad
Gulbarga, Aug 26 (UNI) Vehicles entering from Hyderabad into the border districts of Bidar and Gulbarga in Karnataka were subjected to through check up by the police taking no chance following last night bomb blasts in Hyderabad which claimed 44 lives.
Bidar district Superintendent of Police S Ravi told UNI that besides vehicles, checks were undertaken at all the Lodges, Railway and bus stations.
Strict vigil was maintained through out the district. "Since Bidar is near to Hyderabad all precautions were taken to see that culprits do not enter the State", he added.
Additional Superintendent of Police M N Nagaraju said that special forces were deployed at important places including railway and bus stations and movement of strangers were closely watched.
