Patil apprises PM of Hyderabad developments
New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil briefed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the situation in Hyderabad in the wake of yesterday's twin blasts in the southern city in which more than 40 people were killed.
Mr Patil met Dr Singh after a visit to the Andhra Pradesh capital to have an on-the-spot assessment of the prevailing situation there.
The review meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, was attended by National Security Advisor M K Narayanan, Cabibet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar, Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta and Intelligence Bureau Director P C Haldar.
