Pathetic scenes witnessed at blasts sites
Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) With bodies strewn all over and the relatives of those killed in the twin blasts wailing, pathetic scenes were witnessed at Lumbini Park and Chaat Bhandar.
Authorities, who had difficulty in finding sufficient ambulances to take the injured to hospitals and dead to morturies, shifted the injured to Osmania and Gandhi hospitals. Bodies were lying in the morturies of both the hospitals.
People, who could not understand the incidents of blasts, and took them for the usual blast of electric transformers, started shouting and weeping when they heard that people blown into the air due to the impact of the explosions.
Both the places, which reverberate with fun and flolic on a holiday, witnessed scenes of pathos and the relatives of the dead and injured were found crying and mourning.
Police said they had so far recognised the bodies of eleven people, of whom six were women.
A team of students from Maharashtra which was on a holiday to Hyderabad, were among the victims of the Lumbini Park blast.
