Mah DyCM criticises K'taka Govt's decision

Kolhapur, Aug 25: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil tonight criticised the Karnataka government's decision to set-up state secretariat at disputed Belgaum, saying it is nothing but a ''tactic.'' Talking to newspersons at the Circuit house here, Mr Patil, who also holds Home portfoilio, said the border dispute over Belgaum between the two states was still pending in the Supreme Court, and despite this the Karnataka government is trying to mislead the people.

The proposed move of the Karnataka government will spoil the atmosphere in the border areas, he said adding that the Maharashtra government will take serious note of this matter.
