Haryana police arrest two top gangsters

Kurukshetra, Aug 26 (UNI) The Haryana police arrested two youngsters who were involved in a number of dacoties, including the theft at the house of Som Dutt, an uncle of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt at Mindoli village in Yamunanagr district last month.

The arrested youths were identified as Sultan and Ranjit Lucky who carried an award of Rs 50,000 each on their head .

The duo had mastreminded the robbery at Som Dutt's house when the family was away to Mumbai to meet Sanjay Dutt, SP Amitabh Dhillon said here today.

He said the two were wanted in dozens of heinous crime committed by them in many places in Karnal, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Yamunanagar districts. Three of their associates had bee arrested a few days back.

A police team headed by Yashwant Singh, Inspector, Crime Branch nabbed them from their hideouts in Karnal district. The duo were produced in the court of chief judicial magistrate Pradeep Kumar who remanded them into police custody for three days on the request of the prosecution.
