E-Darshan counter opened in AP

Hyderabad, Aug 26: APSRTC Chairman and Managing Director V Dinesh Reddy inaugurated 'E-Darshan,' an integrated counter at which pilgrims could reserve not only bus tickets to Tirumala but also tickets for darshan.

In his address, yesterday, Mr Reddy said this facility had been provided with the co-operation of TTD administration led by Chairman B Karunakara Reddy and Executive Officer Ramanachary to provide enhanced and more convenient facilities to the pilgrims.

This would also facilitate individual pilgrims to dovetail their travel plans with the likely time of darshan as per the tickets secured by them.

The E-Darshan counter, is operated by the Vijaya Bank.

It was also proposed to open these integrated E-Darshan counters at 14 other places shortly in the state, a press release said.
