Centre is anti-ryot: MP CM

Vidisha, MP, Aug 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today accused the Centre of discrimination vis-a-vis peasants' interests.

''Fertiliser supply for the kharif crop was hampered by the Centre but the state government arranged for it,'' he claimed at a development camp organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party at this district headquarters.

If the Centre turned away from providing facilites to Below Poverty Line families then the state would make ration and other facilities available to such families, the Chief Minister assured.

''The number of such families is reaching 44 lakh from 33 lakh in Madhya Pradesh due to the Centre's apathy,'' he alleged.
