BJP condemns blasts, slams UPA's 'terror-friendly' policies

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) BJP today condemned the horrific blasts in Hyderabad last evening in which over 40 people were killed, attributing the ''weak and terror-friendly policy of the Central government and the Congress party'' as being responsible for such occurences.

BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the government was ''yet to wake up to the reality and the entry of al Qaeda into several places of the country.'' ''The Congress should stop their efforts to further their vote bank politics and come down heavily against the perpetrators of such heinous crimes and save innocents from being targetted by the terror groups,'' he added.

Mr Naqvi urged the Andhra Pradesh government to extend all possible help to the families of the deceased and ensure hospital facilities for the injured.
