Beheaded body of engineer recovered after one year

Srinagar, Aug 26 (UNI) Police recovered the headless body of a computer Engineer nearly a year after his abduction from Hardshiva Sopur in north Kashmir last evening, police said today.

They said a highly decomposed unidentified body was recovered from a Nallah near Hardashiva Sopore. During investigations, the dead body was identified as that of a computer professional Nayeem Gul Dar, resident of Umar Abad Colony Sopore, who had gone missing on September 7,2006.

Police said during investigations it came to light that the missing person had been brutally murdered by some unidentified persons.
