Bablu Srivastava's aide held

Sultanpur, Aug 26 (UNI) Police here today arrested an aide of mafia don Bablu Srivastava and seized illicit weapons from his possession.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of Faizabad range P P Srivastava said ''Srikant Srivastava, an aide of mafia don Bablu Srivastava and an active member of Rajesh Vikram Singh gang, was nabbed during vehicle checking.'' A pistol and large number of cartridges were recovered from the spot. Besides, one rifle, one sharp-edged weapon, one countrymade pistol, illict weapons and other illegal stamps, were recovered from his house.

Meanwhile, a reward for the police team has been announced for nabbing the criminal who had almost 12 cases against him.
