7 Maharashtra students killed in blasts

Hyderabad, Aug 26 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said seven students of Maharashtra were among the 42 killed in the blasts here last night.

The students, aged between 19 to 22, belonged to Amruthavahini Engineering College at Sangamner in Maharashtra, Dr Reddy said.

The victims, along with other 40 students, were on an industrial visit to the city.

The bodies would be sent to Pune by a special flight this afternoon. The injured persons would also be sent to Pune by the same flight, he added.
