5 killed in a road accident in UP

Lucknow, Aug 26: At least five people were killed and 10 others injured when a brick laden truck overturned and fell on a tempo under Gosaiganj police station in the state capital today.

According to police the deceased were mostly the passengers of tempo while some labourers of the truck were also injured in the accident which occurred near Ahiyamau chowki.

Rash driving by the truck is said to be the reason behind the accident.

All the injured have been rushed to the government hospital here and condition of two is stated to be critical.
