Two NIT students die in road accident

Sambalpur, Aug 25 (UNI) Two students of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, were killed in an accident on State Highway 10, near Jharsugura today.

Police said the students had been identified as Ayush Sharma and Kamal Jit.

The mishap occurred when their motorcycle was hit by a truck loaded with coal coming from behind. Both the students died on the spot.

The Jharsuguda police have sent the bodies for post mortem and informed the accident to the NIT authorities.
