Suspended government employee commits suicide
Nashik, Aug 25 (UNI) A suspended government employee committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of a government residential building here today.
The body of Ravindra Nagre (36) was found lying in a pool of blood near Wing 1 of the building.
Ravindra was working as a driver in the revenue department of the district collectorate here. He had been suspended for his addiction for alcohol and was trying to get back the job, according to sources.
Ravindra was living with his wife and two children in the same building while his parents are residing elsewhere.
According to police, Ravindra had quarrelled with his wife yesterday but had had made up with her later. Thereafter, his wife left for her parent's home along with the children since the schools had a two-day holiday beginning Saturday.
Left alone in the house, Ravindra decided to commit suicide. A copy of an application requesting he be reenstated in his job as he was facing severe financial problems, was recovered from his pocket.
