Smallest batch of 75 pilgrims leave for Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 25 (UNI) The smallest batch in this season of 75 pilgrims today left for Pahalgam and Baltal base camps of Shri Amarnath cave shrine of Lord Shiva in South Kashmir, official sources said.

The pilgrims, including 50 men, 10 women and 15 sadhus departed from the M A stadium here at 0505 hrs in a fleet of four buses.

A total of 57,257 pilgrims have left for the holy shrine from the Jammu base camp since July 2, and tight security arrangements, sources added.
