School student dies in exam hall

Basirhat, Aug 25 (UNI) A 16-year-old student of Sarala Vidyapith at Dhaltita under Basirhat police station in North 24 Parganas died while writing his school examination today.

Debabrata Mandal of class IX, while taking his Mathematics examination suddenly fell on a student sitting by his side and became unconscious.

The teachers on duty rushed him to Basirhat Sub-divisional Hospital, where he was declared 'dead'.

An unnatural death case has been registered, police said.
