Roof collapse kills one in Bengal

Barrackpore, Aug 25: A jute mill worker succumbed to his injuries when a slab of concrete fell on him from the roof of his residence near Kelvin Jute Mill here at Titagarh yesterday.

The 62-year old man was rushed to the sub-divisional hospital where doctors declared him 'brought dead'.

The victim hailed from Jonepur, Uttar Pradesh, and was an employee of the jute mill.

Police registered an unnatural death case.
