Nuclear deal: Left not to compromise with Cong
Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) CPI's National Executive member Atul Kumar Anjaan today maintained that the Left parties would not budge from their stand that the UPA Government should not operationalise the controversial Indo-US civil nuclear deal.
Talking to reporters here, he made it clear that the Left parties would not compromise with the Manmohan Singh Government on the issue. The issue would get a new dimension in the national politics shortly, he added.
Expressing his disappointment with the performance of the UPA Government in the last three years, he said his party would shortly chalk out a stir against price rise, ''failure'' to implement the Common Minimum Programme and acute unemployment being faced by youths in the country.
