Maoists blow up CPI(M)'s party office

Krishnagar, Aug 25:aoists today blew up the CPI(M) party office at Asharnagar under Kotwali police staion in West Bengal's Nadia district.

District Police Superintendent H K Kusumkar said the extremists triggered the explosion early this morning.

Police said several leaflets and pamphlets were recovered from the area.

However, there was no casualty or injury, police added.

A special police team has rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area for further investigation.
