Manipur boys claim U-18 doubles title

Chandigarh, Aug 25 (UNI) Bikramjeet Singh, representing Khalsa Acadmey, Mehta Chowk, claimed the boys Under-8 singles title in the All India Invitational Table Soccer Championship being played at the Banyan Tree School in Sector 48 A here today.

Talwinder Singh of Golden Bells School, Mohali and Jobanpreet Singh of Sacred Heart School, Fathegarh Sahib, finished second and third, respectively.

The duo of Vandana and Manpreet Kaur of DAV, Moonak defeated Sukhdeep and Jaspreet of Baba Sahid Public School in the girls Under-12 doubles final.

The Boys Under-18 doubles title went to H Seitajit Singh and H Bisarjit Singh of Manipur who got the better of Arshdeep Singh and Amanpreet of Khalsa Acadmey, Mehta Chowk.

Results: Boys Under - 8 singles: 1 Bikramjeet Singh (Khalsa Acadmey, Mehta Chowk), 2 Talwinder Singh( Golden Bells School, Mohali), 3 Jobanpreet Singh (Sacred Heart School, (Fathegarh Sahib).

Girls Under -12 doubles 1 Vandana and Manpreet Kaur (DAV Moonak), 2 Sukhdeep and Jaspreet (Baba Sahid Public School).

Boys Under-12 doubles: 1 Indersain Goel and Asim Mehta (DAV Moonak), 2 Vishnu and Gaurav ( MDAV High School, Sector-22 Chd), 3 Sanjay and Ravinder (DVM Behror (Rajasthan).

Boys Under-18 doubles: 1 H Seitajit Singh and H Bisarjit Singh (Manipur), 2 Arshdeep Singh and Amanpreet (Khalsa Acadmey, Mehta Chowk), 3 Rahul Gour and Subham Gour (Rajasthan) Boys Under-17 doubles: Amritsar bt Delhi Public School Pinjore.
