Lunar eclipse on Tuesday
Chandigarh, Aug 25 (UNI) A total eclipse of the moon with duration of three hours and 33 minutes will occur on August 28.
The eclipse will at 1421 hrs and end at 1754 hrs and will be visible in some parts of India.
The partial phase of the eclipse will only be visible at the extreme north-eastern part of India at the time of ending in the evening, according to the Metrological Department here.
The ending of eclipse will be also be visible from southern part of Indian Ocean, north-eastern part of India, China, western part of Mongolia and central part of Russia.
The eclipse will be visible in the region covering America, except eastern part of South America and north-eastern parts of North America, the Pacific Ocean, eastern parts of Asia, Australasia and Antarctica.
