India goodwill delegation leaves for Pakistan
New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) A 40-member goodwill delegation comprising parliamentarians and scholars today left for Pakistan where they will meet senior Pakistani leaders.
The delegation, led by noted Gandhian Nirmala Deshpande will also attend the Sufi saint Bulle Shah's 'Urs' celebrations at Kausar in Punjab.
During the delegation's meeting with the Pakistani leaders the ongoing peace process between the two nations will be discussed.
The other members of the delegation include Parliamentarians A R Shaheen, Shahid Sidiqui and Waseem Ahmed.
