''Heyy Baby'' premieres in Sydney
Mumbai, Aug 25 (UNI) The first Bollywood film to be set entirely in Sydney, Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Heyy Babyy' starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan was previewed (on August 23) at the State Theatre in Sydney, ahead of its world-premiere in Mumbai.
More than 200 high-profile guests were showered with flower petals as they walked the red carpet --a traditional Indian welcome. Guests were also entertained by a group of Indian dancers.
Minister for Tourism Matt Brown welcomed a mix of film industry representatives including leading film producers, John Winter and Jim McElroy, actors Jessica Napier and Deborah Lee Furness along with Indian business leaders, 20 top-tier Indian travel wholesalers and representatives of the NSW tourism industry. The film received a good response by the 200 plus audience.
