HC summons UP Jal Nigam MD over building construction

Allahabad, Aug 25 (UNI) The Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has been summoned by the Allahabad High Court on September 6 over alleged irregularities in the building construction of degree colleges in the state.

Justices BM Sahai and Bharti Sapru passed the order yesterday while hearing a petition filed by Dr Arvind Kumar, 'suspended' Principal of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Degree College (Bhadoi).

The suspension order of Dr Kumar had been stayed by the court and the Managing Director of UP Jal Nigam has been asked to appear with a detailed report.
