Father, son charred in Uttar Pradesh

Siddharthnagar, Aug 25:A man and his minor son were charred, when their clothes accidently caught fire, while pouring kerosene in a lamp at Tetiri Bazaar area here, police said.

The incident took place yesterday night at Madhukpur village, when Vinay Kumar Srivastava asked his son Abhishek (5) to fill the lamp with kerosene.

While, Abhishek died on the spot, Vinay succumbed at Gorakhpur Medical College.

Meanwhile, Vinay's wife Shobha was stated critical.
