Delhi Book fair from September 1 to September 9

New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) The nine-day 13th Delhi Book fair will commence from September 1.

As many as 225 leading Indian publishers in about 560 stalls will be participating in the fair, held at Pragati Maidan.

The major attraction of the literary event, spread over an areas of 1500 sq meters, will be the participation of 22 foreign nationals individually.

There will be nine individual participants from China and 7 from Vietnam besides participation from Pakistan, Iran, Germany and UAE.

Seminars, conferences, book launches, book releases and painting competition for children and various other programmes will be held at the fair.

The fair, to be inaugurated by Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna, is being organised by the Federation of Indian Publishers and the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).
