3 nabbed for forging chief minister's signature

Imphal, Aug 25:The Manipur police apprehended three persons, including a woman, yesterday for allegedly forging Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh's signature.

Police here today said the accused persons, identified as Mamtaz Begum, Md Allimuddin and Huirem Ragu, were from Thoubal district, the constituency of the chief minister.

They had forged Mr O Ibobi Singh's signature in letters written to state chief secretary Jarnail Singh to grant them some works, police added.
