20 held after clash between students in Tanda

Faizabad, Aug 25 (UNI) Police today arrested 20 people, following a clash between the students of two communities in Ambedkar Ndagar district in which one student was killed.

Deputy Inspector General (Faizabad Range) P P Srivastava said students of two communities had clashed yesterday in Tanda area.

The mob jhad also torched vehicles and assaulted the passers-by after which the situation became serious.

A student had died in the clash.

Twenty people have been arrsted in this connection. Police has been deployed to avert any fresh violence in the area.
