Six lakh stolen from Bank
Guntur, Aug 24 (UNI) An amount of Rs six lakh was stolen from the Guntur District Central Cooperative Bank in Tenali town in Guntur district today.
Police said the intruders entered the cash counter when the cashier and other women employees were taking their lunch.
However, the staff who noticed them raised an alarm, but they managed to escape with the booty by scaling the rear wall of the bank compound.
A knife was also found near the wall.
However, the police suspect the hand of some bank employees also.
