SAC recommends strict action against another engineer

Jammu, Aug 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir State Accountability Commission (SAC) has held another engineer guilty of misusing his official position and recommended strict action under Service Rules against the officer.

The Commission found the then Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Udhampur, Dharmveer Koul guilty of obliging a local MLA to extend construction work of a road, to a favorite constructor in violation of law.

The recommendations were passed in a complaint, filed by Gopal Pachiala alleging serious allegations of drawls of huge amount from government treasury on fictitious bills, to clear the road sliders and slips, when the slips had never occurred.
