Officer-in-charge sent to jail

Patna, Aug 24 (UNI) Special vigilance court of Patna today remanded officer-in-charge of Supaul police station Satynarain Singh to judicial custody till September 6.

State vigilance bureau officers produced Mr Singh before special vigilance judge Sunil Kumar Panwar following which he was sent to jail till September 6.

Earlier, Mr Singh was arrested from Sakhua village while he was caught accepting Rs 2,000 from Raveena Khatoon in Supaul district yesterday.
