NCC cadets to get 50 per cent travel concession

Chandigarh, Aug 24 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to give 50 per cent concession in the fare to NCC cadets to participate in the training activities throughout the state in the Haryana Roadways buses.

Transport Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said the decision had been taken in a meeting with Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and NCC Deputy Director General, Brig D C Katoch.

Mr Surjewala said this facility would be only provided to NCC Cadets who belonged to Haryana.

He said that during their journey, cadets had to wear proper uniform and bring identity cards and training certificates.

Transport Department would provide the buses on the demand of NCC Directorate for this purpose, he added.
