Narcotics seized in city

Bangalore, Aug 23 (UNI) The city police seized a major haul of narcotics suspected to be a mixture of heroin and brown sugar and arrested two persons from a park in the heart of the city while they were trying to peddle the contraband.

Police sources said the arrest was made last night and both persons hailed from North India, and it is being suspected that the racket had been going on for some time.

The drugs had been sent for testing to the Forensic Science Laboratory in the city, the sources added.
