Kochi, Aug 24 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today reserved orders on the petition filed by Sabarimala Chief Priest Kandararu Maheswaru challenging the Travancore Devaswom Board order barring his son, 'Tantri' Kandararu Mohanararu from performing pooja in the temple.

A Division Bench comprising Mr Justice K S Radhakrishnan and Mr Justice V K Mohanan reserved the orders after the government pleader submitted the police case diary regarding a complaint of abduction and robbery filed by Kandararu Mohanararu last year. The high court had earlier directed the state to produce the case diary. It gave the direction while hearing the petition filed by Kandararu Maheswaru, who contended there was no police case against Kandararu Mohanararu and he was only a complainant in an incident that happened last year.

Kandararu Mohanararu had in a complaint to the police claimed he was abducted by some people and taken to a flat here where he was allegedly robbed and forced to pose with a woman in a compromising posture.

Following the incident, the TDB barred him from performing 'pooja' at the hill shrine of Sabarimala.
