Guatemala Foreign Minister's India visit begins tomorrow
New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Foreign Minister of Guatemala Rosenthal will be here on a week-long official visit to India from tomorrow to review bilateral relations and discuss measures to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Mr Rosenthal, who is accompanied by his wife and two business delegates, will have talks with Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma on August 29.
The two ministers will also discuss deepening of dialogue between India and the Central American Regional Group called SICA, which consists of eight central American states, the Ministry of External Affairs said here.
Meanwhile, the Government of Gautemala has decided to open an embassy in New Delhi, and India too has decided to open a resident embassy in Guatemala. The two embassies will start functioning from next year.
