Govt would fill up vacancies: AP Minister

Eluru, Aug 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Minister Sambhani Chandrasekhar today said the Government would fill up 969 vacancies for doctors within a month in the State.

The Minister said at present 184 posts were lying vacant in Tribal villages. In West Godavari, the Government would attempt to construct permanent buildings to three Primary Health Centres, he added.

Mr Chandrasekhar said compared to last year, malaria has come in the districts. Necessary steps would be taken up to prevent viral fever in the districts, he added.
