Indore, Aug 24 (UNI) Congress spokesman Satyavrat Chaturvedi today hoped that differences between the United Progressive Alliance government and the Left over the '123' Nuclear Agreement would be sorted out and the regime would complete its full term.

''This is not the first instance that such differences have surfaced. Like earlier, they will be sorted out by discussion. The Left has made it clear that their intention is not to topple the government. A committee has been formed and it will work towards dispelling misunderstandings,'' he told reporters here.

Describing as baseless the apprehension that India would become subservient to the United States as a consequence of the deal, Mr Chaturvedi added that the US was not indulging in charity but that national interests were linked to it.

''The Agreement does not contain even a word that would indirectly affect India's nuclear programme. Our country will move as per its national interests. The National Democratic Alliance's opposition to the deal amounts to hypocrisy,'' he said.
