BMC to extend services for urban poor

Mumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will extend services to the urban poor in the city at a cost of around Rs 480 crore for financial year 2007-08.

The extension of services for the urban poor include urban poverty alleviation, improvement of chawls, slum clearance, upgradation of slums and primary education.
