BJP to field former MP Moghe from Khargone again

Khargone, MP, Aug 24 (UNI) The BJP would field former MP Krishnamurari Moghe, who was disqualified as a parliamentarian for holding office of profit, as its candidate for Lok Sabha by-election from Khargone.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state party President Narendra Singh Tomar made the announcement while addressing party workers at Badwah in Khargone.

Both exhorted party workers to get Mr Moghe re-elected by a huge margin as a reply for his being removed in an insulting manner.

Mr Tomar said the by-election would be fought under Khandwa MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan's leadership. He would be assisted by three ministers -- Mr Vijay Shah, Mr Narottam Mishra and Mr Antar Singh Arya.

No formal date has been announced for Khargone by-election but was expected to take place soon.
